Dr. Michael Provitera is Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior and a highly-regarded executive leadership trainer. His work focuses on improving organizational effectiveness and helping individuals achieve professional growth. He has worked with major companies such as Pfizer, Trane, Interval International, and the City of North Miami. As a recognized authority in his field, Dr. Provitera has been featured in leading media outlets such as Business Week, Forbes, US News & World Report, Fox Business, NBC News, and The Washington Times.

He has been dedicated to lifelong learning through his academic journey. From the City University of New York, he earned his bachelor’s degree. And a master’s degree from Saint John’s University. To further expand his academic career, Michael received a Doctor of Business Administration degree from Nova Southeastern University.

Career:

As a senior executive at elite firms such as the Industrial Bank of Japan and Salomon Brothers, Dr. Provitera began his professional journey in Wall Street’s Financial District. He is known for his high-energy coaching, personalized mentoring, and ability to make real change through connection, trust, and leadership. Currently, he works as an associate professor in the Department of Leadership at Barry University.

Dr. Provitera has been recognized with the Outstanding Reviewer Award by the Management Education Division of the Academy of Management since 2006.
