Misbah Naseer is a distinguished dedicated and empathic leader and manager with experience in both corporate and non-profit settings renowned for her contributions to the field of strategic planning, project management, and resource management. As a leader, she has a proven ability to actively listen, manage conflict, and optimize team performance through fostering strong interpersonal connections and effective collaboration. With almost ten years of experience in leading teams, Misbah Naseer has a special interest in creating an inclusive collaborative team culture and empowering others to become influential leaders in their fields.

Education:

Misbah Naseer received her undergraduate degree from University of British Columbia, majoring in Integrated Sciences. In order to master her craft as a front line leader, she completed an Associate Certificate in Leadership from Justice Institute of British Columbia studying conflict management, mediation and leadership. She is also a certified Project Management Professional with the Project Management Institute.

Career:

Misbah Naseer’s career began in the biotechnology industry in quality assurance. Since then, she has held various positions in academia and the public sector that provided her the opportunities to sharpen her project management, data analysis and policy analysis skills and showcase both her leadership and innovation when building and leading teams.

Teaching and Mentoring:

Having experienced both sides of mentorship, Misbah vouches for its invaluable impact, especially when embarking on a new career path or seeking leadership roles. She is deeply committed to mentoring young professionals and students, guiding them through sharing her knowledge and experiences, She also volunteers as the Managing Director of the MAX Mentors Vancouver Chapter, an organization dedicated to connect mentees with experienced mentors who can offer guidance, support, and valuable insights tailored to their personal and professional development needs.
